A masterplan for an artificial island off Haikou as a city of leisure on the maritime Silk Road: eight mixed‑use neighbourhoods, each with its own character, on a modular platform that works as a living laboratory for sustainable living.

Walkways, driverless cars and a sky tram move people across the island; a Tree of Life observation tower carries vertical gardens; the cruise terminal is the gateway, its central hall a miniature of the island’s urban pattern.
