The Cloud @ Donaumarina
A 103‑metre office tower in Vienna’s Donaumarina district with a predominantly timber structure, which would make it Austria’s tallest wooden high‑rise. Stacked wooden volumes rotate as they rise, from human‑scale pieces at the pavement to large ones at the top, wrapped in glass.

The idea comes from cloud computing: a network of connected volumes rather than a single block. Every floor gets corner offices; motorised wooden shutters on the façade regulate sunlight and energy use; a concrete core and steel beams carry the timber.
